The focus of the spring/summer 2025 issue of Reading Ireland is drama and includes essays on Seán O’Casey, Feminist Theatre in Ireland, Patricia Burke Brogan’s Eclipsed and Jennifer Johnston’s drama. We also spotlight the centenary celebrations for Brian Friel: Friel Days – A Homecoming 2025-2029, and Druid at 50. Eamonn Wall concludes this issue with an essay on Philip Casey.
